I was raised in an environment of both engineering and art. My early path was one of physical architecture—I was obsessed with load-bearing integrity and the management of forces both vertical and lateral. That structure must be built to endure, or it would fail.
While my career eventually pivoted to branding and strategy, I never stopped being an architect. I simply changed the medium—from steel and glass to identity and infrastructure.
I founded b.iD in 2014 because I saw a market full of ‘decoration’ but starving for ‘structure.’ Companies were scaling into massive Structural Debt because their brands weren’t engineered to hold the weight of their vision. At b.iD, we don’t just ‘design’; we govern the foundation of your legacy.
2014 | FOUNDATION
B.ID officially begins operations in Houston, Texas, with a mandate to provide comprehensive design and communicationsolutions that take brands from 'good' to 'remarkable.'
2015 | COMMENCEMENT
The transition from a freelance career path to a dedicated brand practice. The first "Load-Bearing" identities are deployed.
2016 | IMPACT

At the start of 2024, B.ID transitioned its operations from a traditional agency model to one that maximizes an intensive or agile model.

She pivoted b.iD away from the traditional agency model—which often prioritizes transient campaigns over long-term endurance—to build a firm dedicated to Institutional Stewardship.
Her philosophy is simple: Your brand is an asset to be governed, not a project to be managed.

Marking 12 years of b.iD, Dana has become the primary consultant for CEOs and founders who have outgrown the "creative shop" but refuse to succumb to the "soulless consultancy." She provides the Agile Executive Suite leadership required for the next decade of scale.
